Article IX Child Custody Proceedings, Rule 905
The Illinois Supreme Court has adopted Article IX, Child Custody Proceedings – Rule 905,
which mandates that each judicial circuit establish a mediation program for cases
involving custody and visitation. The rule is effective July 1, 2006.
